Lark Lake Cabin

Even more remote than the Triangle Cabin, the Lark Lake Cabin is a two and one-half mile paddle with a 20 minute hike from Triangle Lake. Lark Lake is a pond-like lake that abounds in a diversity of wildlife. You could easily spend your whole stay here and never see another person. It would not, however, be unusual to see a moose.

This piéce-sur- piéce cabin boasts a log bay that overlooks the serene beauty of Lark Lake. It will comfortably sleep six. Just down the shore is a Finnish log sauna, complete with screened porch, for the perfect end to a day of skiing or paddling. Access 2.5 miles by water with 3/4 mile portage.

Although these cabins do not have indoor plumbing or electricity, they are comfortably outfitted. Most of our cabins have a traditional Finnish sauna for bathing and relaxation. We supply fresh drinking water from Ely and propane for lighting, cooking and refrigeration. In addition, each cabin has a clean, comfortable outhouse. Also, we escort you to your cabin and provide help getting gear in and out. A canoe comes with each cabin.
